Privacy Statement


If you send us correspondence, including emails and faxes, we may retain such information in the records of your account. We retain these records in order to keep records of our relationship, to measure and improve our customer service, and to investigate potential fraud and violation. We may, over time, delete these records if permitted by law. .


Parts Guarantee

All goods are guaranteed to be in satisfactory working order at the time of purchase. In the event of a fault arising within the guarantee period the seller reserves the right to either repair or exchange the goods. If replacement goods cannot be found within a reasonable time then the full purchase price will be refunded. This will only happen on production of the original sales invoice and only if the goods are returned in the same condition as when the goods were supplied with the seller's security marks still visible thereon. The seller will not hold itself liable to reimburse the buyer for any installation charges no matter how they are incurred unless otherwise stated.
There is a 25% handling charge for functional parts correctly supplied by us that are returned.
In the case of parts delivery via courier or post, this cost is non-refundable if the part was supplied correctly by us.

STANDARD GUARANTEE


All goods sold by the seller will carry a minimum 3-month guarantee from the date of purchase. Under no circumstances will A1 Engines Ltd entertain any claim(s) whatsoever in regard to labour costs/charges involved in the fitting, removal and or changing of the parts supplied by the company.

EXTENDED GUARANTEES/ WARRANTIES


A1 Engines Ltd. offers 3 further levels of warranty. Refer to the separate Extended Warranty guidance for further information or contact one of our sales team who will be more than happy to go through all of your order with you and to clarify any questions you may have.

Terms & Conditions


Please note customers will only be contacted if their required part is held in stock and ready for dispatch within 24 hours (48 hours over the weekend).

Any changes in expected delivery times etc will be notified to the customer as soon as possible.

Any parts purchased will comply with the Sale & Supply of Goods Act 1994 and be of "Satisfactory Quality" unless specified at the time of sale.

Any parts purchased will carry a minimum guarantee of 30 days.

Only parts listed on your invoice/receipt are covered by the guarantee/warranty.

On placing your request any specific information about the parts you require must be clearly noted in the part required section. (e.g. Part, colour, size, type etc)


If requesting an engine, customers must state if ancilleries are required. If request has been made, stating complete engine wanted, this means head and block, it does not mean with ancilleries as these are sold separately.

Please note all parts supplied, are marked with the supplying dismantlers stamp/initials, removal of these marks will invalidate your guarantee/warranty.

No parts may be altered, modified or dismantled in anyway without prior permission of the supplying network member. Failure to comply with these terms will invalidate your guarantee/warranty.

All goods must be inspected upon delivery before signing. If goods prove to be damaged, do not sign & contact the breaker within 1 working day.

On delivery, please inspect all goods before signing, this is to ensure that the item has not been damaged during transit. If the courier refuses to let you inspect the goods, simply write the word 'Damaged' and then sign. This is to ensure that if necessary, a claim can be made against the courier company.

In the event that a part(s) are supplied and prove to be incorrect or faulty upon fitting, the supplying member must be notified within 48 hours upon receipt of the goods. Collection can then be arranged , if a replacement is not available then a full refund will be offered.

In the event that a part is supplied correctly but the customer had made an error whilst ordering that part, the supplir must be contacted immediately and the part returned to the within 7 days of purchase at the cost of the customer. The supplier must refund the customer but can charge a handling fee to a maximum 25% or the carriage both ways, whichever is greater as long these terms have been adhered to.

Refunds can only be made upon the return of the goods to the supplying network members premises.

All engines purchased must be fitted with a new timing belt/cambelt/chain and filled with new oil upon installation.
Failure to follow this procedure will result in the guarantee/warranty being rendered null and void.

Please ensure all gearboxes are filled with new oil upon installation also.

Please ensure all goods are checked thoroughly before being signed for. As refunds are not always possible for goods that have been damaged whilst in transit. The words unexamined or unchecked on the delivery note/docket are not acceptable. Members of the network will not be held responsible for the refund of goods damaged in transit if they have been signed for as in good condition.
